Q. What gets you up in the morning?
A. The ringing of my phone, but sometimes I wake up little bit before.

Q. When did you first decide you wanted to be a photographer?
A. I was studying an economic degree at university, and photography was just a hobby. It then became a passion, and for the last 5 years has been my profession.

Q. What do you love about product photography?
A. I like to work with light, with all the shapes and shadows. Sometimes for me photography is like a challenge, to be better.

Q. Best websites for tips and trends on photography?
A. Pinterest of course, and Behance, also fashion magazines.

Q. Any other photography you like working on?
A. I’m building up my food photography portfolio, and in my free time I also take portrait shots. I enjoy changing the angles and trying new techniques.

Q. Any specific techniques for aspiring photographers?
A. Watch a lot of classical movies, practice a lot, try to understand the light. It helps to be interested in culture and art to find inspiration too.

Q. What are you reading at the moment?
A. Ajn Rand “Atlant Has straightened Shoulders” – a real cool book for everyone.

Q. Favourite places to hang out in Dubai?
A. I think Kite Surf Beach. I like the sport, even though I’ve never tried it. I’ve only done some wakeboarding. I’d like to start surfing this year.

Q. Future goals and aspirations?
A. I’d like to go on a big European trip, capture the people there, the places and food. It would also be great to make more commercials, and shoot cars. It’s also a product shot but obviously with much bigger objects, which would create new scope.
